HIGHLIGHTS

The breathtaking Alps span the borders of several European countries, and this vacation gives you the opportunity to see the best of the Alpine region. Ride in panoramic carriages on the amazing Glacier Express, passing over chasms and through the mighty Alps.

The Glacier Express Experience

A celebration of Swiss engineering, the Glacier Express offers breathtaking views of mountains, glaciers, viaducts across rushing streams, and switchback rail lines that sometimes go in full circles to spiral up or down the steepest slopes.

It ends in St. Moritz — one of the world’s ritziest winter resorts. Train cars have special large windows that sweep high onto the roof so tourists can take in the vast mountain vistas.

A train to fall in love with—-The Glacier Express is the most famous railway in the world. It is a day trip through untouched mountain landscapes, glamorous health resorts, deep gorges, delightful valleys, 91 tunnels and across 291 impressive bridges.

Milan

View of La Scala Opera House, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and visit the world famous Duomo.

Como

Take a scenic cruise on Lake Como to admire the beautiful lakeside villas and gardens.

Lugano

Beautiful Lake Lugano is Ticino’s star attraction. Visit Santa Maria degli Angioli to see Renaissance artwork. The church of a former convent, Santa Maria degli Angioli, faces the lake at the end of Lugano’s most fashionable shopping street.

Inside is one of Ticino’s most impressive art treasures, a full wall covered by a single fresco, the early 16th-century masterpiece of Bernardino Luini depicting the Passion and Crucifixion.

Zermatt

Switzerland’s most famous resort brings together every Alpine cliché, from its views of the world’s most photogenic mountain, the Matterhorn, to its narrow streets lined with wonky, weathered chalets.

St. Moritz

With the snow-dusted Alps in the backdrop surrounding a sparkling lake, dotted with wooden cottages and upscale shops, St. Moritz sure looks a million dollars. The residents of this quaint town often brush shoulders with King Carl Gustaf of Sweden – St. Moritz is a much preferred weekend getaway amongst celebrities and royals.

Saint Moritz celebrated 150 years of tourism last year, and its appeal shows no signs of diminishing. Synonymous with glitz and glamour, Saint Moritz is the oldest and most prestigious winter resort in the world.

Vaduz

A tiny capital for a tiny country, Vaduz is a postage-stamp-sized city with a postcard-perfect backdrop. Crouching at the foot of forested mountains, hugging the banks of the Rhine, and crowned by a turreted castle, its location is visually stunning.

The centre itself is curiously modern and sterile, with its mix of tax-free luxury-goods stores and cube-shaped concrete buildings. Yet just a few minutes walk brings you to traces of the quaint village that existed just 50 years ago and quiet vineyards where the Alps seem that little bit closer.

Lucerne

Visit the city of bridges and towers, ideally situated in the historic and scenic heart of what many believe to be the “true” Switzerland – picture mountains, lakes, cowbells, Alpine villages, and meadows full of Edelweiss. Experience Switzerland’s Mount Pilatus, which offers a dazzling view across Lake Lucerne.

At 7,000 feet, the summit offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views, spreading from the city of Lucerne to the Lake of Lucerne, from Säntis to Titlis, from the Bernese Alps to Jungfrau, over the Swiss borders from Schwarzwald to the French alps.

Schaffhausen

Visit and marvel at the Rhine Falls of northern Switzerland, Europe’s largest waterfall.

Kilchberg

Discover the magical Lindt Home of Chocolate. Chocolate has been produced at the Kilchberg factory since 1899. Experience the biggest Lindt Chocolate Shop, discover the best Swiss chocolate and even create your own chocolate. It’s a cool tour for anyone in Zurich, it tells the story of chocolate and the main Swiss brands. A true paradise for all chocolate lovers!

Jungfraujoch

Immerse yourself now in the high alpine wonderland of ice, snow and rock and discover the highlights of the Jungfrau Region from Interlaken to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. The Jungfraujoch is a saddle connecting two major 4000ers of the Bernese Alps: the Jungfrau and the Mönch. It lies at an elevation of 3,463 meters above sea level and is directly overlooked by the rocky prominence of the Sphinx. It is famous for being the highest accessible railway in Europe.

Einsiedeln

Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Einsiedeln and its miraculous spring water. The monastery lies in the midst of a breathtaking landscape with a deep blue lake and jagged mountain tops.

Zurich

View major sites of the city such as the castle-like National Museum, the shopping and business center on Bahnhofstrasse, the Limmatquai with its medieval Old Town, the largest church clock-face of Europe on St. Peter, the patriarchal Guild Houses, the Opera House that hosts the famous June Festivals, and the picturesque Lake Zurich.
